The 516 Arouca Bridge is a suspended pedestrian walkway that crosses the Paiva Valley, near Arouca, in Portugal. Its name comes from its length of around 516 metres, making it one of the country’s most remarkable suspended footbridges. It links two slopes above a steep, wooded landscape.

The bridge is located on the Areinho side, in an area associated with the Paiva Valley walkways. Its slender metal structure and its great height above the void create a very distinctive feeling of suspension. The whole setting blends into a natural environment shaped by hills, the river and rocky slopes.
