Berliner Dom, or Berlin Cathedral, stands on Museum Island facing the Lustgarten, in the heart of the German capital’s historic center. Despite its name, it is above all a monumental Protestant church, known for its impressive silhouette and its major role in Berlin’s cityscape.

The current building, rebuilt in the early 20th century, replaced several older places of worship linked to the Hohenzollern dynasty.
