Presentation of the Statue of Liberty

The Colmar Statue of Liberty is a monumental replica installed at the northern entrance to the city, along the Strasbourg road. Standing several metres high, it catches the eye with its green silhouette and seven-point crown, inspired by the famous New York monument. This work was installed in Colmar as a tribute to Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, a sculptor born in the city and the creator of the Statue of Liberty in New York.
