Introduction to City Park

City Park, or Városliget in Hungarian, is one of Budapest’s largest public parks. Located to the east of the city, near Heroes’ Square, it stretches around wide avenues, lawns, and a lake whose use changes with the seasons. It is a much-loved place for walks among both locals and visitors.
